Thomas Hartwell founded the firm in 2009 after a decade in civil litigation at a New Orleans defense firm. He focuses on personal injury and commercial litigation, and has tried cases to verdict in the 22nd and 24th Judicial District Courts and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.

He is a frequent speaker on comparative fault and medical lien priority under Louisiana law, and serves on the St. Tammany Parish Bar Association’s civil practice committee.

Marie-Claire Boudreaux leads the firm’s family law, estate planning, and real estate practice. A Mandeville native, she has guided hundreds of Northshore families through divorce, custody, and succession matters with a reputation for candor and preparation.

She is a trained mediator and a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association’s Family Law and Trusts, Estates, Probate and Immovable Property sections.

Daniel Roussel joined the firm in 2021 and practices in business formation, employment agreements, and consumer bankruptcy. He works closely with small-business owners on entity structure, operating agreements, and non-compete compliance under La. R.S. 23:921.

Before law school he managed operations for a family seafood distributor in Slidell, which informs his practical approach to business counsel.
